A gorgeous and rare shaped hexagon Italian Marquetry Musical Jewelry Box that plays the famous theme from the movie "Love Story" ("Where Do I Begin").

Made in Sorrento, Italy from the 1970s.
This lovely original handcrafted music box features rich exotic wood veneers with an inlaid floral centerpiece on the lid and beautiful lacquered finish.
On the inside of the hinged lid there is a mirror trimmed in a red rope border that matches the red velvet interior.
There is a removable section to access the Mapsa Swiss Musical Movement piece.
It makes the perfect gift for a special or sentimental occasion.
