$650.00

A splendid pair of Custom Framed Botanical Engravings by English illustrator, engraver and painter Frederick P. Nodder (1770-1801).

Circa Late 1800s.

These lovely engravings have been custom framed and matted in giltwood frames and using TruGuard UV protective glass.

Although the label on the back states they are original engravings from 1788, we believe to the best of our knowledge that they are from a later edition of the publication "Thirty-eight Plates, with Explanations: intended to Illustrate Linnaeus's System of Vegetables, and particularly adapted to the Letters on the Elements of Botany" by Thomas Martyn (1735-1825). Plate VIII, Diandria (p.15) and Plate XIII, Pentandria Digynia (p.25).

They are beautiful and will look stunning on display.

These items will be carefully packaged and shipped with tracking to ensure they arrive intact.
