A gorgeous English De Montfort Silverplated Traditional Toast Rack with a frosted glass dish for serving butter or jam.
Circa 1940s.
Maker's mark and "Made in England" engraved on the underside.
The lovely rectangular silverplated tray has a beaded trim and rests on four ball feet.
The glass dish and rack both are removable so that the tray could be used alone.
This piece would also make a nice letter and clip holder.
DIMENSIONS- 7.25ʺW × 3ʺD × 2.5ʺH
Good vintage condition with wear appropriate for age and use. Silverplating has some age spots. No chips on dish.
