A very large rustic French Demijohn Wine Bottle encased in a wicker basket.
Circa 1900.
Marked Viresa on bottle spout.
The bottle is green in color and holds up to 20 liters or 5 gallons of liquid.
It is encased in a wicker basket with two side handles for carrying.
These jugs were used for wine storage and transporting in the French countryside.
